Osun State Fire Service has linked fire that razed an uncompleted female hostel in South Campus of the Federal Polytechnic, Ede, Osun State on Wednesday to bush burning in Jere Area, where the campus is located.
The Fire Service said the raging fire from bush burning spread to the premises of the polytechnic late Wednesday and razed parts of a storey building said to be a female hostel.
Although no life was lost, the Service put estimated worth of the properties lost to the incident at over N10 million.
